What time does GTA 6 come out?
Rockstar has not announced an unlock time. Every official mention of the launch, from the delay announcement to the Extended Look, says 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and stops there. Sony's product page lists the date and a seven day pre-load, no hour. Any page that gives you a confident time is guessing.

What Rockstar did last time
For Red Dead Redemption 2 in October 2018, Rockstar's launch post set the worldwide streaming embargo to match, in its words, "the game's first 'midnight launch' release in Australia / New Zealand", and translated that moment for other regions: 12:01am Friday in Australia and New Zealand, 7:01am Thursday Eastern, 4:01am Thursday Pacific, 12:01pm Thursday in Britain. That is a rolling midnight, with the date arriving zone by zone, and it is the closest thing to a Rockstar policy on launch timing that exists. It is precedent, not an announcement about GTA 6.
If GTA 6 unlocks at local midnight
Then 19 November arrives in New Zealand roughly a day before it arrives in Hawaii. Every row below is midnight at the start of Thursday 19 November in that place, expressed in UTC so you can compare them. Daylight saving is already applied: Sydney and Auckland are on summer time in November, North America and Europe are not.

Read it the other way round if you are in the United States: while it is still Wednesday evening on the east coast (7pm Eastern, 4pm Pacific), Australia and Japan already have the game.
If it is a single global unlock instead
Some publishers unlock digital copies at one moment worldwide, usually stated as a US Pacific or Eastern time. If Rockstar does that, everyone gets the game at the same instant and the table above stops mattering. A single unlock at, say, midnight Eastern would be 4pm Thursday in Sydney and 5am Thursday in London. Nothing official points either way yet, which is the whole reason this page exists.
Pre-load
Pre-load is the one timing fact that is published: Sony's product page lists a seven day pre-load for both editions, which puts it at 12 November 2026. A downloaded game still does nothing until the unlock, so pre-loading changes how fast you start, not when.
What would settle it
A Rockstar Newswire post, a Rockstar Support article, or a store listing with an unlock hour. Rockstar published its RDR2 launch guidance four days before that release, so expect the GTA 6 equivalent in the week of launch rather than months out. When it lands it goes on the news page with the source, and the countdown is retargeted the same day.
