GTA 6 missable trophies and items
Rockstar has confirmed nothing about missable content in Grand Theft Auto VI, and no missable list can exist before the game does. What follows is how missables have worked in the two most recent Rockstar games, which is the only honest guide available two months out, plus what to watch for on release day.

Set pieces from the official footage. Whether any of them can be permanently missed is unknown, and this page says so rather than guessing.
Why anything goes missable at all
Three causes account for nearly every permanent loss in a Rockstar game, and all three are structural rather than bugs.
- Story progress closes a door. A character leaves, a location locks, or a chapter ends, and anything tied to them is gone. Red Dead Redemption 2 does this repeatedly: several companion activities and side encounters exist only within one chapter.
- A choice is exclusive. Two outcomes, one save. Both GTA V and Red Dead 2 end on a choice that changes what remains available afterwards.
- An item is one-off and unmarked. Something appears once, is not logged, and is not signposted as important until it is too late to get it.
What was actually missable before
In Red Dead Redemption 2, the well known cases are chapter bound: companion activities, certain stranger threads, and items tied to characters who leave. Its compendium and challenge sets, 7 and 9 entries in our checklist, are the categories where people most often finish a playthrough and find a row they can no longer close.
In Grand Theft Auto V, the structure is kinder. Most of the 601 items in our checklist stay available after the story ends, which is why so many people 100% it post credits. The exceptions cluster around the ending choice and a handful of character specific tasks.
The practical difference between the two is the lesson worth carrying into November: a Rockstar game built around chapters loses things, and one built around an open post story world does not. Nothing announced about GTA 6 tells us which it is.
What is not known about GTA 6
- Whether the story is chapter structured like Red Dead 2 or open like GTA V.
- Whether Jason and Lucia have separate task lists that can close independently.
- Whether the ending is a choice, and whether it locks anything.
- Whether any collectible set is time or story limited.
Anyone publishing a GTA 6 missables list today is guessing or working from a datamine. Neither appears on this site.
What to do on 19 November
- Save manually before anything that looks final. A distinct save slot before a point of no return costs nothing and is the only reliable insurance.
- Do side content when it appears, not later. In a chapter structured game, later is often never.
- Tick as you go. A list you filled in afterwards from memory is how people discover a gap they cannot close.
The GTA 6 checklist goes live the hour the game unlocks, and missable warnings go into it as soon as they are confirmed rather than guessed. Our Red Dead 2 checklist already works this way if you want to see the shape of it before November.
