GTA 6 radio stations: the six Rockstar has named
Rockstar named the first six Grand Theft Auto VI radio stations on 8 October 2026, in a post on its Newswire, and put a short preview of each one on the music page of its official site. They are a first look, not the full dial: Rockstar says GTA 6's stations run all the way from classic rock to talk radio, and calls it the biggest and widest range of in-game radio the series has had.
The six stations at a glance
| Station | Music | Hosts |
|---|---|---|
| Cocoteo FM | Modern Latin | El Martillo and La Gata |
| Back Country Radio | Renegade country | MW and Delta Dawne |
| AfroBank FM | African music | Burna and Palmsy |
| The Chamber 106.6 | Metal | DJ Kerry and DJ Tom |
| Flash FM | Pop | Robyn and Alex |
| Dirty South Classics | Southern rap and hip hop | Trick and Trina |
Cocoteo FM
Leonida's station for modern Latin music: bachata and merengue through to dembow and reggaeton. Rockstar sells it as the party that never switches off.
Back Country Radio
Renegade country beamed out to the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and beyond. It has its own roving reporter, Mud Dog Mike, a swamp meteorologist who calls in from his airboat, and who Rockstar says is Delta Dawne's not very secret lover.
AfroBank FM
African music across the decades, from 20th century classics and lesser known gems to newer sounds like amapiano and 3-step.
The Chamber 106.6
Decades of metal anthems, which Rockstar ties to Leonida's deep metal roots.
Flash FM
Pop, and the one name on the list that GTA fans already know: Flash FM was a station in GTA Vice City in 2002 (its full 2002 tracklist). Rockstar calls it a Vice City institution, now hosted by Robyn and Alex.
Dirty South Classics
Regional rap and hip hop classics, Southern through and through.
Radio on foot, and the first GTA podcasts
Two things are new to the series. GTA 6 adds on-demand podcasts, separate from the radio stations, for Jason and Lucia to listen to. And neither the radio nor the podcasts are tied to a car any more: both play in vehicles and on foot, through headphones and earbuds that connect to the characters' smartphones, which Rockstar describes as newly introduced.
What Rockstar has not said yet
- How many stations there are. Six are named. Rockstar describes the full range, classic rock to talk radio, without giving a number.
- Any tracklist. The previews are short mixes, and Rockstar has not published a song list for any station. Lists going around were put together by ear from those previews.
- Who voices the hosts. Rockstar credits them by on-air name only.
- The podcasts' names and the score. Rockstar says details of GTA 6's dynamic score and more singles from the album are coming.
The album is a separate thing from the radio: GTA 6: The Album, its singles and the trailer songs are on our songs page. And if you want the old dials, here are all 9 Vice City stations and all 16 GTA 5 stations, every song listed.
