The GTA 6 PS5 controllers: what was announced
Sony and Rockstar announced two limited edition DualSense wireless controllers for Grand Theft Auto VI on 3 September 2026, in a joint post on the PlayStation Blog. This page is that announcement and nothing else: no retailer rumours, no console bundle that has not been announced, no Xbox pad that does not exist yet.
The two designs
DualSense Wireless Controller, Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition
Sony's description: the black pad captures "the energy of Vice City's iconic nightlife". Both controllers share a colour shifting finish and palm tree details moulded into the controller itself, with GTA VI branding.
DualSense Wireless Controller, Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition
The white pad is "Vice City at daybreak". Same finish, same moulded palm trees, same branding, the day to the black one's night.
