Confirmed from official footage only
GTA 6 activities: everything Rockstar has actually shown
Every item below was read off Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, the 27 minute showcase Rockstar released on 27 August 2026. Nothing here comes from a leak, a datamine or someone's reaction video. If Rockstar has not put it on screen, it is not on this page.
Tick things off as you like. It saves in your browser, and when GTA 6 lands on 19 November 2026 this becomes the real tracker.

Activities you can do
Three of these carry a visible counter in the footage, which matters more than it sounds: a counter means the game is already keeping score, so a completion checklist can mirror it exactly instead of us inventing one.

The wanted system has changed
This is the clearest mechanical change in the whole showcase, and it is worth spelling out because it affects how police attention works from moment to moment.
Six stars, not five
Every Grand Theft Auto since GTA III has capped police attention at five stars, with GTA V and Red Dead 2 both using five. The pursuit footage here shows six star positions, with four of them filled during an active chase and two still empty to the left. So the ceiling has moved up by one, and a four star chase is no longer close to the worst it gets.
Four icons sit underneath the stars
New, and not in any previous game. Four small round markers sit directly below the star row during a pursuit. They depict, left to right: two overlapping figures, a coat hanger, a single face, and a car.
What they depict is confirmed. What they mean is not, so treat this next part as reading rather than fact: they look like a record of what the police actually know about you. Who saw you, what you are wearing, what your face looks like, what you are driving. If that is right, losing a chase becomes about breaking the specific things identifying you, changing clothes or swapping cars, rather than just driving until a circle stops chasing you.
Rockstar has not explained these icons. Nobody should tell you they know what they do yet.
Full breakdown with the frames: GTA 6 police and the wanted system.
What else the pursuits showed
- Police helicopters overhead during higher star levels
- Officers taking cover behind vehicle doors and returning fire rather than driving straight in
- Roadblocks and pursuit through multi storey car parks
- Shooting from a moving vehicle while a second character drives
Two things found in Rockstar's full quality release
The Netflix capture is too compressed to read small UI. Going back through Rockstar's own 4K file turned up two systems that are easy to miss on a single watch.
The mask detail matters beyond the robbery. One of the four markers under the wanted stars is a coat hanger, and the items wheel uses that same hanger for clothing. Put those together and covering up looks like it feeds directly into what the police know about you. We have written that up properly on the wanted system page, including what is still unproven.
What has not been shown
Worth being straight about the gaps, because every other site is filling them with guesses.
- No completion or progress screen appeared anywhere in the 27 minutes. How Rockstar counts 100 percent in GTA 6 is still unknown.
- Still no scuba, jet ski or base jumping found. Others have listed them. Two separate frame passes, one every 8 seconds across the whole showcase and one every 2 seconds across the middle third, did not catch them. Not yet found is not the same as not in the game, and we will say so when we have the frame.
- No collectibles were shown. Previous games hang a large part of the checklist on them, and none were visible here.
- No activity totals. One target range had 12 targets. How many ranges exist, and how many of anything else, has not been said.
- The four wanted icons are undefined. We can see them clearly. Rockstar has not said what they track, and we are not going to invent it.
This page grows as Rockstar shows more. It will not grow because a leak did.
