November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders opened June 25, 2026. Preload begins November 12, 2026. No PC version has been announced; previous GTA titles reached PC one to two years after console launch.

The protagonists
Jason Duval. Jason wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder. He grew up around grifters and crooks, and after a stint in the Army trying to shake off his troubled teens, he found himself in the Keys working for local drug runners, it might be time to try something new.
Lucia Caminos. Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk; fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary, and sheer luck got her out. Fresh out of prison and ready to change the odds in her favor, Lucia's committed to her plan, no matter what it takes.

Trailer 2 racked up 475 million views across platforms in its first 24 hours, the biggest video launch of all time, beating the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer's 365 million.
The Grand Theft Auto series has sold-in more than 470 million units worldwide, per Take-Two's official pre-order announcement (June 2026).
